Appraisals so often take the form of a prescriptive monologue.

This training shows you what managers can offer their staff in appraisals by using a coaching style to motivate, encourage and give high quality performance feedback.

• Agreeing performance objectives which contribute to both the individual and the organisation achieving their goals
• Learning styles
• Questioning and listening skills
• Giving feedback to facilitate self evaluation in order to enhance performance and self development
• Using a coaching style during reviews as a tool to raise awareness with the member of staff of their performance and generate responsibility in them to develop further.
